Diego Ortega (Toluca, 1993) se graduó de la Licenciatura en Animación y Arte Digital en el Instituto Tecnológico de Estudio Superiores Monterrey y formó parte de la primera generación del Programa de Iniciación a la Práctica Artística de Centro ADM.

Trabaja en torno al video y animación en distintos formatos con énfasis en la manipulación de video en tiempo real. Toma como punto de partida las dinámicas sociales que se ven afectadas por los distintos niveles que implica el ejercicio de la edición de la imagen enfatizando exploraciones de identidad y vigilancia. Es co-fundador del colectivo audiovisual KE/MP con el que ha producido proyectos para distintos festivales de música, cine y arte digital en México. Recientemente participó en la exposición When Removed From View, Removed From Existence gestionada por la plataforma digital anti-materia.org en Winchester, Inglaterra y en My Wall is Your Filter Bubble, misma que forma parte del festival Abandon Normal Devices.


Diego Ortega (b. 1993, Toluca, Mexico) graduated from the BA in Animation and Digital Art by the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and was also part of the first generation of PIPA (Initiation Programme to the Artistic Practice) by Centro ADM.

His artwork focuses on the use of video and animation in diverse formats with an emphasis on video manipulation on real time. He is interested in the social dynamics that are affected by the layers of image edition, emphasizing on the exploration of identity and surveillance. He's the co-founder of the audiovisual collective KE/MP, a project that has been part of several music, film and digital arts festivals in Mexico.

His artwork has been part of several exhibitions such as When Removed From View, Removed From Existence, curated by the digital platform anti-materia.org, in Winchester, U.K. and in My Wall is Your Filter Bubble, which was part of the British festival Abandon Normal Devices.
